WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
· Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene
··Valid license to practice Oral Hygiene
· Demonstrated understanding of dental methods and techniques.
· Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills required.
··Competency in dealing with people of various cultures
Responsibilities
· Provide clinical oral hygiene services including dental prophylaxis, scaling, sealant application and fluoride application consistent with accepted professional practices and standards .
· Provide oral health education
· Integrate appropriate patient dental hygiene care with other health care professionals involved in the patient’s health care management
