Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on a temporary basis, which may, for the right candidate, lead to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care through thorough cleanings, patient education, and support for our dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist with patient examinations and record findings accurately in the dental management system
- Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized
- Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow within the practice
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license
- Previous experience in a dental office setting, including dental assisting or related roles, is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Pay: $37.77-$54.65 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
