Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated & professional Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, & supporting a positive dental experience. Duties
- Perform professional dental cleanings
- Take dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices & preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient examinations & record findings accurately in the dental management system
- Collaborate with dentists & dental assistants to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Manage patient appointments efficiently & provide excellent customer service
- Maintain sterilization protocols & ensure the cleanliness of all dental equipment & work areas
- Support pediatric patients during treatments, ensuring comfort & understanding of procedures
Requirements
- Experience with Cleardent or similar dental management software is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, & general dentistry procedures is advantageous
- Prior experience in a dental office setting, especially with dental assisting or pediatric care, is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly & compassionately with patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail & organization
Position Details:
- Schedule: Wednesday & Thursdays 7:30am - 3:30pm
- Optional 3rd day possible in the future
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in the dental field required
