Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. This position is part time: 2-3 days per week based on applicants availability. No evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Take dental X-rays and perform iTero scans as needed
- Assist in diagnosing periodontal disease and other oral health issues
- Document patient care accurately in dental software
- Deliver excellent customer service and patient education
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Dental Hygienist license
- Experience with iTero scanning or similar imaging systems
- Familiarity with Gold Dental Software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care
