6006 Yonge Dental is a modern, patient-centered dental clinic located in the heart of North York. We want a high energy, personable new member to add to our dental family. We are hoping to hire 1 or 2 more Hygienist at this time.
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health, patient education, and preventative care, while also being comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including scaling, polishing, root planing, and fluoride treatments and Periodontal charting
- Take digital radiographs as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with RCDSO and CDHO standards
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Uphold strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient-first attitude with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Previous experience in a dental office is an asset, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
