Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice. We are a modern, newly established non-corporate dental office looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist to work Thursdays 9-5 to start (days and hours are flexible), with opportunities for additional hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing preventative dental care, and educating patients about oral hygiene practices.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Utilize Open Dental software for patient record management and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Sterilize and maintain equipment and instruments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Experience
- Registered with CDHO (required)
- Previous experience is preferred, but not required. Anyone with passion for oral hygiene and patient-oriented mindset is welcome to apply.
- Korean-speaking an asset.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience ($48-52/hour).
