Our independent hygiene practice is losing a valued team member to a move, and we’re on the hunt for a kind, confident, and experienced Dental Hygienist (minimum 5 years) who loves what they do and brings great energy to the team.
This Independent Hygiene clinic is busy, including an onsite dentist 2 days/week.
You are someone who:
- Has strong clinical skills — that goes without saying with 5+ years under your belt.
- Takes initiative and can recognize and explain all stages of decay and disease — no hand-holding needed.
- Walks patients through their treatment options with empathy, honesty, and clarity.
- Understands that oral health and whole-body health go hand in hand — and isn’t afraid to chat nutrition when it matters.
- Takes command of your space with calm confidence while keeping things light and friendly.
- Maintains accurate patient records using dental practice management software (we use RecallMax and Maxident).
- Follows all safety and infection control protocols with consistency and care.
- Values teamwork, good vibes, and a respectful workplace where everyone has each other’s back.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient and confident in learning and using practice management software.
- Broad knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
- A second language is a plus — we love connecting with our diverse patient base.
- Excellent time management: room turnover and instrument processing are your responsibility, but we all help each other out when needed.
- Clear, respectful communicator who empowers patients to make informed choices.

Hours: Wednesday: 3:00 – 7:00 pm
Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
1 Saturday/month: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $54.00-$56.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
Work Location: In person
