About the Role
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team on alternate Saturdays. This is an ideal role for someone who loves building patient relationships, enjoys a calm and supportive environment, and wants to supplement their existing weekday schedule with consistent Saturday work.
You will be joining a team that values quality care, efficient systems, and a great patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide comfortable, gentle, and thorough hygiene care
- Perform scaling, root planing, periodontal assessments, and polishing
- Take digital X-rays as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control procedures
- Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to deliver optimal patient care
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the CDHO (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach
- Experience with digital charting and digital radiographs
- Experience with Abeldent is an asset but not required
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Alternate Saturdays (every other Saturday)
- Hours: Typically 9 AM – 5 PM
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
