Salary of $45/Hr is our starting salary based on experience.
Our office has been a big part of our community for decades. Our team has also been together for years and we are actively looking for another great person to join our dental family.
We are currently looking for a Hygienist to cover a Mat Leave for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and alternating Saturdays. The hours are stable, the environment is state-of -the-art and inviting, the pay is competitive, and we provide dental benefits as well. We follow IPAC guideline, provide isolation gowns, PPE and have equipped our operatories with glass doors, air purifiers and external aerosol evacuator.
```Duties```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and keeping the patient comfortable
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans and provide comprehensive care
```Skills```
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with dental office software Dentrix for scheduling patients and managing patient records
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry techniques and the ability to work with children of all ages
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patients
