Our growing dental clinic is seeking an experienced Certified/Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team 4-5 days per week, with strong potential to transition into a full-time position as our practice continues to expand.
We’ve recently welcomed a new dentist to our team and are looking for the right assistant to help create an outstanding experience for both new and existing patients.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Assist the dentist during various procedures
- Take dental radiographs
- Manage patient records using Cleardent
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and medical histories
Requirements
- Certified/Licensed Dental Assistant (required)
- Proven clinical experience with strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and chairside protocols
- Comfortable assisting in a wide range of procedures, including pediatrics, oral surgery, Invisalign/orthodontics, endodontics, and prosthodontics
- Self-starter who anticipates the needs of the dentist and supports efficient clinical flow
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a welcoming atmosphere for new and returning patients
- Excellent communication skills with patients of all ages, including children, with a calm and reassuring chairside manner
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff
- Understanding of the importance of treatment presentation and helping ensure patients are scheduled for their next appointments
- Familiarity with dental software (Cleardent or similar systems)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and respect for patient confidentiality
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
