Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience utilizing dental software such as Tracker. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across diverse cases, including pediatrics, in a supportive and professional environment. The Associate Dentist will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of dental health and patient satisfaction while collaborating with a team of experienced dental professionals.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using medical terminology and clinical expertise
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatric cases
- Operate and manage dental software systems such as Tracker to document patient records accurately
- Provide preventive care, including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
Requirements
- Valid DDS/DMD license to practice dentistry in the state of employment
- Proven experience working in a dental office setting; pediatric experience is a plus
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic and Dentrix
- Familiarity with CAD technology for restorative procedures
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
