Job description: Dental Clinical Assistant

In this position, the successful candidate will perform both administrative office tasks and assist dentists directly with patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing dental instruments
Providing patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Recording patient information and maintaining accurate dental records
Scheduling appointments and managing the dental office's appointment calendar
Ordering and maintaining dental supplies and equipment

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments (preferred, but willing to train)
Proficiency in using dental software for record keeping and scheduling (preferred, but willing to train)
