Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for patients, managing treatment plans, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with various office software. Prior dental or medical office experience is preferred, along with strong customer service skills.
Duties
- Greet patients at the front desk and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Schedule appointments and coordinate treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and provider recommendations
- Manage patient records through accurate data entry and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and organization
- Assist patients with insurance questions, payment processing, and explaining treatment options
- Utilize software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office management tools to maintain accurate records
- Perform clerical tasks including proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized files
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing patient inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette
- Support front desk operations by handling administrative duties such as typing reports, managing appointment reminders, and supporting billing processes
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is highly desirable
- Strong proficiency with office software including opendental Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties or dental office procedures is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills combined with attention to detail for proofreading and record management
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor and providing top-tier customer support
- Prior clerical experience involving office procedures such as bookkeeping or front desk responsibilities is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
