Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments efficiently
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks when necessary
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Experience with Abeldent or similar dental practice management software preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
- Fluency in both Persian (Farsi) and English is mandatory
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Background in dental assisting or related fields is advantageous
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
