Luna Wellness Centre is Grande Prairie’s first Infant & Family Wellness Hub, created to provide connected, collaborative care for families in one supportive space.
From postpartum, infant feeding, pediatric wellness, and recovery, our model brings multiple disciplines together so families do not feel fragmented or passed between clinics. Our team works closely to support each patient with intention, education, and continuity of care.
About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a unique hybrid position that blends clinical dental assisting with administrative support.
This position is ideal for an RDA who is self-directed, confident working independently, and comfortable taking ownership of their role while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
- Orthodontic module preferred; willingness to complete the module if not already certified
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with infants, children, and families
- Ability to move between clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable with computers, imaging software, and learning new systems
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting for airway-focused, pediatric, and orthodontic care
- Supporting frenectomy procedures and providing post-care education
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical flow
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary providers within the wellness centre
Administrative Responsibilities
- Patient communication, scheduling, and follow-up
- Supporting care coordination between providers
- Assisting with documentation and patient education workflows
- Ensuring families feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their experience
