Job Title: Dental Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, familiarity with medical terminology, and proficiency in software such as Maxident.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Manage patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized front desk
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with Maxident.
- Experience in pediatric and orthodontic dentistry is advantageous
