Summary
We are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team at Chestermere Smiles Dental, located in Chestermere. This role is vital in supporting our mission of delivering exceptional dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. The position is available in the next 1-2 weeks.
Hours:
Friday's: 8:30-3:00 PM
Saturdays: 8:30-3:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean working environment.
- Provide support during orthodontic procedures when necessary.
- Uphold all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid RDH license in Alberta.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a dental hygiene role preferred
- Proficiency with Dentrix software is essential.
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
