Belman Dental Centre is a progressive, midtown, family owned practice with sole owner/practitioner and associate. A modern clinic with state-of-the-art equipment, looking for a dental hygienist focused on periodontal care.
PERMANENT part-time hygienist to fill MONDAYS (7:45am - 7pm) and possibility to increase up to 5 days in April
Responsibilities
- Assess patient's oral health condition
- Perform oral hygiene activities such as - cleaning, prophylaxis, etc.
- X-ray
- Clean and maintain treatment rooms and instruments using appropriate equipment
- Ensure patients' medical needs are met in a professional manner
- Maintain dental instruments, equipment, and dental supplies
- Record all patient information in the medical record according to regulations and standards set by the state of Toronto, ON
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and HIPAA regulations
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, employers, and the community
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations in the dental field
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude
- Certified and Licensed
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $55.00 per hour
