Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, and support the overall efficiency of our dental team. Duties

Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to prevent cavities and gum disease
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
Manage sterilization of instruments and ensure clinical areas adhere to infection control protocols
Support pediatric patients and accommodate special needs, including orthodontic cases if applicable
Communicate effectively with patients, providing excellent customer service in a bilingual environment if necessary
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
Experience with Dentrix or other dental office management software preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures beneficial
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse patient populations
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required
Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
