Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring precision and adherence to patient specifications. Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers based on detailed prescriptions and technical drawings
- Utilize CAD software to design and modify dental restorations with precision
- Prepare models, wax-ups, and other components necessary for appliance creation
- Operate laboratory equipment including casting machines, polishing tools, and finishing devices
- Collaborate with dentists and dental office staff to ensure accurate interpretation of prescriptions and specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace in compliance with safety standards
- Keep detailed records of work performed for each case to ensure quality control and traceability
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dental laboratory setting or related laboratory experience is preferred
- Knowledge of CAD software used in dental design is highly desirable
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential
- Experience with dental office operations or assisting roles is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise craftsmanship
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and prescriptions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and dental professionals
