Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on Mondays 12pm-7pm and Fridays 7am to 2pm. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support the overall function of the dental team. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a passion for dentistry, and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations. Our office has dental floaters that assist with sterilization, room turn over, seating patients and taking x-rays.
Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis and cleanings in accordance with established protocols
- Take digital dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using Logic Tech Paradigm dental software
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during procedures
- Maintain sterilization standards and manage infection control procedures
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Experience with Logic Tech Paradigm management software is preferred
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
- Good customer service skills and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $45.00-$47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
