Bellesmere Dental is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our family dental practice in Scarborough for part-time maternity leave coverage.
This role is ideal for a hygienist who is professional, reliable, gentle with patients, and comfortable working in a supportive team environment. We are looking for someone who values patient education, thorough clinical care, and a calm, respectful approach.
Schedule:
Monday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
There may be potential for continued part-time opportunities depending on clinic needs and fit.
Bellesmere Dental is a modern family dental office using Open Dental for scheduling and patient management, DEXIS imaging, digital X-rays, and iTero scanning. Our team focuses on professional, patient-centered dental care for families in the Scarborough community.
Responsibilities:
Dental hygiene assessments and cleanings
Scaling, polishing, fluoride application, and preventive care
Digital radiographs as needed
Periodontal charting and clinical documentation
Patient education on oral hygiene, home care, and prevention
Infection prevention and control protocols
Accurate patient records
Collaboration with the dentist and dental team
Requirements:
Registered Dental Hygienist licensed to practise in Ontario
Current CDHO registration
Valid CPR certification
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Experience with Open Dental, DEXIS, digital X-rays, and digital workflows is an asset
