Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist with patient assessments and record keeping using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Support the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Manage patient appointments and ensure smooth clinic operations
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist in orthodontic procedures when required, including appliance adjustments and patient instructions
Skills
- Proficiency with proper note taking and dental practice management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, endo and general dentistry procedures
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Experience with dental assisting tasks is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
- Previous dental office experience is advantageous but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $38.09-$55.20 per hour
