Job Overview
We are seeking an experience, certified, dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with Cleardent software is beneficial, but experience as an orthodontic assistant is required. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Work independently and assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Take dental radiographs using digital technology when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow, case tracking and billing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety standards
- Assist with patient education on oral health care practices
Experience
- Certification in Orthodontic Assisting required with prior experience in orthodontic setting
- Familiarity with Cleardent software is highly desirable
- Experience working with Itero and clear aligner systems
- Previous experience in a clinical setting supporting both clinical and administrative functions is advantageous

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
