We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed to protect teeth from decay.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system (Tracker).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience working in a dental office setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
