We are looking for a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team at Bloor & Sherbourne Monday & Tuesdays
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality dental care and guidance on oral hygiene. Your role will involve supporting our dental team with a range of clinical tasks, ensuring patients receive the best care in a friendly and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and probing.
- Perform oral cancer screenings and educate patients on maintaining excellent oral hygiene.
- Take and process dental x-rays.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and treatment plans.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized care recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) practices.
- Proficiency with dental office procedures and protocols.
- Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on making patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Familiarity with AbelDent software.
