Registered Dental Hygienist
Location: Princess Elizabeth Dental
Schedule: 2 Days per Week (flexible scheduling available)
Are you a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist seeking a part-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Our clinic, Princess Elizabeth Dental, is busy and growing! We have provided over 25 years of service in the community and are looking to add a candidate who wants to positively impact our community. Our practice offers comprehensive care, including general dentistry and a referral-based dental implant practice led by ABOI general dentists.
As a GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) certified practice, we prioritize the latest, most effective biofilm management and preventive care techniques. If the successful candidate is not yet GBT certified, we are willing to provide training for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, and assess patient individual needs.
- Perform thorough and gentle cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
- Perform Guided Biofilm Therapy.
- Build trust with patients by fostering open, ongoing communication and addressing their needs with compassion and professionalism.
- Proactively engage with patients to maintain strong relationships, encouraging regular continuing care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
- Collaborate with our dental team to ensure each patient receives personalized, high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license (required).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a dedication to patient education and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Prior experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome!
