Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take digital dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using ClearDent or similar dental management software
- Manage patient inquiries and ensure a positive experience through excellent customer service
- Support pediatric patients and address their specific needs with patience and care
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of ClearDent or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or dental assisting is a plus
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is important
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
