Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to patient education and preventive care.
New grads and existing hygienists are welcome.
Job will start off with full time 4 days per week. future of expansion of opportunity to full time available.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Conduct patient evaluations, including taking medical histories and assessing oral health conditions.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the management of patient records using CLEARDENT software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the BC .
- Strong knowledge of terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience with Cleardent or similar dental software is preferred.
- Excellent Patient care skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
