Griesbach Family Dental is looking for a full-time registered dental hygienist for Monday-Friday.

You will work closely with dentists and patients to provide comprehensive cleanings, assessments, and education, ensuring each patient experiences a comfortable and positive visit. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and compassionate approach will help us maintain the highest standards of dental care while fostering a welcoming environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize efficiency.
- Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in Dentrix.
- Follow infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alberta
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices.
- Proficiency with Dentrix is an asset, but not necessary.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
