Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of dental and medical office procedures, and proficiency with practice management software. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office workflows, maintaining excellent patient care standards, and managing administrative functions effectively. The Dental Office Manager will also handle human resources tasks, oversee staff supervision, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Prior experience in dental or medical office environments, along with supervisory experience, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the dental office to ensure efficiency and high-quality patient service
- Supervise administrative and clinical staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee patient scheduling, billing, coding, and insurance claims processing
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Handle human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and staff development
- Monitor office budgets, supplies inventory, and vendor relationships to optimize operational costs
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards
- Coordinate with dental providers to facilitate smooth clinical workflows and patient care delivery
- Address patient concerns promptly to uphold excellent patient satisfaction standards
- Assist in implementing new procedures or technology upgrades within the practice
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a dental or medical office environment
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, electronic medical records systems, and healthcare compliance standards
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Background in human resources management within a healthcare context
- Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and practice operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with staff and patients alike
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures quickly

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
