The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and will play a vital role in supporting our dental team. This position involves assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and iTero scans as required.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow in the office.
Skills
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting techniques and practices.
- Experience or knowledge of Digital Dentistry is highly desirable.
- Competence in using ClearDent or similar dental practice management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Bilingual language skills (French/English) is considered an asset.
