Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients on oral hygiene practices and assisting in various dental procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assess patients' oral health and provide recommendations for treatment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist the dentist during procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is beneficial.
Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful for effective communication within the healthcare team.
Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients.
