Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as necessary.
- Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software.
- Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans for orthodontics and pediatric patients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies.
Skills
- Proficiency in Dentrix software is highly desirable.
- Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as it enhances communication with diverse patient populations.
- Previous dental assisting experience is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
