About the Role

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team on alternate Saturdays. This is an ideal role for someone who loves building patient relationships, enjoys a calm and supportive environment, and wants to supplement their existing weekday schedule with consistent Saturday work.

You will be joining a team that values quality care, efficient systems, and a great patient experience.

Responsibilities

Provide comfortable, gentle, and thorough hygiene care
Perform scaling, root planing, periodontal assessments, and polishing
Take digital X-rays as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment recommendations
Maintain accurate and complete patient records
Ensure proper sterilization and infection control procedures
Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to deliver optimal patient care

Qualifications

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the CDHO (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach
Experience with digital charting and digital radiographs
Experience with Abeldent is an asset but not required

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Alternate Saturdays (every other Saturday)
Hours: Typically 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
