Dr Banni - Family Dental is a family oriented dental practice in Waterloo, with a single practicing principal dentist and a warm and friendly work environment.

We are a non-assignment office with limited CDCP patients.

Employee benefits:
- Paid vacation leave: 2 weeks in year 1, then 3 weeks from year 2

- Clinic is closed 5 weeks in a year- 3 weeks staggered in summer, 2 weeks over Christmas

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Schedule and confirm appointments with accuracy and efficiency
Process patient check-in and check-out
Maintain accurate patient records in Tracker or similar software.
Process patient information and verify insurance eligibility.
Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for clients
Supervise and coordinate the Hiring/ Onboarding/ Terminations/ AM meetings/ Team meetings of employees.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including maintaining accurate electronic medical records. IPAC, etc.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment; order as necessary to ensure smooth operations within budget
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high morale among staff.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality service delivery.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written
Warm, friendly, and personable with a patient-first attitude
Previous experience in a dental office or as a Dental Receptionist is a must
Proficient in using phone systems and electronic medical records software (experience with Tracker is a plus).
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
