Position: Temporary Dental Hygienist (Temp shifts)

Location: 5005 Mullen Road NW, Edmonton AB T6R 0S9

Temp shift schedule is as follows:

March 5, 2026 - 11:00am-7:00pm
March 6, 2026 - 9:00am-5:00pm
March 7, 2026 - 9:00am-4:00pm

Paid daily % of billings

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth
Conduct patient screenings and record medical history
Take and develop dental X-rays
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
Assist in diagnosing oral diseases and conditions
Collaborate effectively with dentists and other team members
Administer fluoride treatments
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety procedures

Requirements:

Successful completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program and registered to work in Alberta
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to make patients feel at ease and comfortable
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the team
Must prioritize patient care and have a customer service mindset
Experience with Curve Hero dental practice management software is an asset
Must have flexibility to work weekdays and weekends

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 days
