Position: Temporary Dental Hygienist (Temp shifts)
Location: 5005 Mullen Road NW, Edmonton AB T6R 0S9
Temp shift schedule is as follows:
- March 5, 2026 - 11:00am-7:00pm
- March 6, 2026 - 9:00am-5:00pm
- March 7, 2026 - 9:00am-4:00pm
Paid daily % of billings
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth
- Conduct patient screenings and record medical history
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Assist in diagnosing oral diseases and conditions
- Collaborate effectively with dentists and other team members
- Administer fluoride treatments
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program and registered to work in Alberta
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to make patients feel at ease and comfortable
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the team
- Must prioritize patient care and have a customer service mindset
- Experience with Curve Hero dental practice management software is an asset
- Must have flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
