Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, and will be an active team member . This role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse patient population (including children) and to work with high quality technology and equipment. The job is permanent, for 24 - 32 per week.

Our new hygienist will be able to do the following:

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene treatment that is tailored to each individual patient.
Take dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide post-treatment care instructions.
Assist the dentist during examinations and simple procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using our dental management software.
Manage patient appointments efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Support pediatric patients by creating a fun and friendly environment.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as staff members.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Alberta is mandatory.
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
Proficiency with Power Practice and Cadi is an asset.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an engaging and supportive work environment.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
