We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level II Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing dental team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical assisting and patient interaction and is looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive practice environment.

Schedule

This position is currently starting with:

Thursdays: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Fridays: Every other Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (with potential for additional Fridays)
Saturdays: Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (with potential for additional Saturdays)

There is strong potential for additional hours and days as the role grows.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting the dentist during procedures
Greeting and checking in patients
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Maintaining patient records and accounts
Submitting insurance claims and updating insurance information
Assisting patients with intake and medical forms
Explaining treatment plans and associated fees
Taking payments and handling basic billing tasks
Managing recalls and follow-up appointments

Qualifications:

Certified Level II Dental Assistant in Canada
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (required)
Dental reception experience (preferred)
Experience with ABELDent software is considered an asset
Willingness to cross-train on reception duties
Ability to travel between offices when required
Team player willing to help cover shifts when needed
