Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care to our patients, focusing on preventive oral health and patient education. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with our dental team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to detect oral health issues
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
- Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, sealants, and fluoride applications
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in dental hygiene practices
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Active state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in using dental software (e.g., Dentrix) for patient records
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or dental assisting is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for effective communication with diverse patients

Pay: $35.44-$52.73 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
