Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist who are available to work on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional oral health services while fostering a positive patient experience in a professional environment. Candidates with experience in dental office management software, orthodontics, pediatrics, and bilingual communication are highly valued.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using dental software such as Dentrix
- Support the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
- Manage patient appointments, follow-up care, and maintain accurate dental records
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
- Maintain a sterile environment by following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental practice is preferred
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental office management software is advantageous
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry enhances patient care capabilities
- Bilingual skills are considered a strong asset for serving diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care is beneficial
- Prior experience in dental assisting or customer service roles within healthcare settings is desirable

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
