We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional dental office setting.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain patient records accurately
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Perform periodontal charting and screenings
**Skills:**
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Experience in pediatrics dentistry preferred
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is advantageous
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols
- Understanding of dental assisting techniques
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Exposure to orthodontic procedures is beneficial
- Strong customer service and communication skills
