Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have a strong commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about dental hygiene practices and ensuring their comfort during visits.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Assist with periodontal therapy and provide support for orthodontic treatments when necessary.
- Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or orthodontics.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental management software is a plus.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
