East York Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our warm and professional team on a 1-year maternity leave contract.
Location: East York Dental Centre, Toronto, ON
Start Date: August 6, 2025
Contract Duration: 1 year
Wage: Starting at $40/hour
Schedule:
- Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- One Saturday/month: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure excellent patient experiences.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered and in good standing with the CDHO.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Experience with digital charting (Open Dental or similar) is an asset.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 22 per week
