Join the Monarch Dentistry Team! We are looking great Team Members to join our Niagara Falls location. The ideal candidates for our clinic is a multi-tasker who values playing their part for the team. We are looking for someone who provides outstanding treatment to our valued patients.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls from patients and address them respectively and in a friendly manager when they visit the clinic.
- Schedule patient appointments and communicate schedule openings with the dentist.
- Register new patients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic.
- Help patients fill out medical forms at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information.
- Explain clinical procedures and educate patients to help clarify any questions or concerns they may have.
- Inform patients of in-house dental services offered by Monarch.
- Ensure that patients are made aware of cancellation policies (2 business days notice).
- Ensure that all patient files and documents are kept confidential and destroyed properly.
- Respond to all patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner, including emails and phone calls.
- Attends and actively participates in team meetings. Contributes to the team by working with clinical and administrative teams equally.
- Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database.
- Optimizes the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps.
- Manage patient calls, handling inquiries, confirmations, and appointment amendments.
- Manage potential cancellations and overcome objections.
- Processes referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider.
- Ensure all patient billings are accurate.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience as a dental office administrator / treatment coordinator.
- Experience in optimization of scheduling patient appointments
- Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to a variety of patients
- Experience with Dental practice management software (such as Dentrix) is considered an asset
