We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant II to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential support to our dental team, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation while delivering high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory.
- Proficiency in dental software applications such as Cleardent is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is preferred.
