Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We utilize new technology like AI and Woodpecker systems. New grads welcome to apply!
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed
- Document patient treatment plans and progress using Dentrix software
- Provide support in orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Foster positive relationships with patients through exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice
- Experience with Dentrix software is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient base
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
