We are hiring a Senior Dental Administrator/Office Manager to join our amazing team at The Smile Team Pediatric Dentistry. We are urgently hiring for this position.
We are a patient centered non-assignment practice and we are so proud of our exceptional team. We know how stressful it is for families when they are referred to a pediatric dentist and we make every effort to make sure each family is treated with respect and kindness while we support them through the challenge of dental treatment for their little ones.
Our successful candidate will be responsible for processing referrals, booking surgeries, communicating with patients, referring offices, vendors and sales reps, assisting with social media content, and organizing events and speaking engagements. RDH’s and RDA’s with the required administrative experience are encouraged to apply (see below for administrative requirements).
Other responsibilities include providing leadership and management in team building, delegation of tasks and conflict resolution, assisting in hiring new employees, review and improve practice systems to ensure smooth and efficient functioning,
We are committed to excellent patient care and building excellent relationships with our referees. Our patient care coordinator will play a critical role in fulfilling this commitment. You will work closely with Dr. Chahal and the clinical team and must ensure that the schedule is booked in an efficient and effective manner.
The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. No evenings and no weekend hours will be required. We value work/life balance and are excited to bring a hard working team leader to our amazing team.
Parking is included. You are paid for the full 8 hours everyday (breaks and lunch are paid).
Requirements: Must have experience working with children and love working with children (not only in dentistry, but any capacity). Must be willing to learn and ready to take on new challenges. Must have experience working with Cleardent and excellent interpersonal skills.

Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of dental office/dental specialist experience is required.
- Strong proficiency and experience with Microsoft and Cleardent is required.
- AHS billing, medical terminology, and surgical booking skills with AHS is strongly preferred.
- A degree/diploma in Business/Health Sciences/Medical Administration is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, social media and tech-savvy.
- Able to handle claims for government programs such as CDCP, LIHB and FSCD.
