Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of dental office procedures, and the ability to manage both staff and patient relations effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our office runs smoothly while providing exceptional care to our patients.
They will also be performing basic Dental Reception duties
Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Supervise and train office staff, including receptionists and dental assistants, to maintain high standards of service.
- Oversee scheduling, billing, and collections processes to ensure accurate record-keeping and financial management.
- Maintain patient records and ensure office policies are followed.
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize office resources while controlling costs.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to facilitate patient care and treatment plans.
- Handle human resources functions such as hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and industry trends to enhance office efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Tracket software or similar dental practice management systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and acute care practices.
- Strong budgeting skills to manage office finances effectively.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a proven ability to lead a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
